Tom brings his straightforward, honest approach to every deal and in the process has built loyal, long-standing relationships with his clients.  With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Tom has expertise in all sectors of the market and represents buyers, sellers, developers, corporations, hospitals, and nonprofits.  Working alongside Katie Breggia, his partner for 18 years, Tom is known for his market knowledge, good morals, and honed instincts.  Putting together the right deal drives Tom, and he has dedicated his career to providing representation that puts his clients’ best interests first.

Tom joined The Dunham Group in 1996. Prior to joining the group, he served as a combat engineer paratrooper in the U.S. Army where he earned the rank of sergeant. He was awarded the prestigious United States Army Commendation Medal. Tom is a graduate of University of Maine (B.S.) with a concentration in finance, and San Diego State University (M.B.A.) with a concentration in commercial real estate finance and development. Tom is past President of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR), a past director of the Maine Real Estate Development Association (MEREDA), and was honored as MCAR’s Broker of the Year in 2002. He holds both the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designations.

In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Jasmin and their two dogs, Scrappy and Romeo.

  • Greater Portland Portfolio Sale: Tom and Katie represented both sides of this $16,000,000 sale between two long-term clients. The portfolio included 16 mixed-use properties.
  • Gowen Family Portfolio Sale: Tom and Katie represented the estate of a long-term client in the sale of their entire portfolio. All properties were sold within 3 months of listing.
  • 600 Sable Oaks Drive, South Portland: Tom and Katie represented the buyer in the sale of this 100,000 SF office headquarters building for $18,300,000. Buyer was an owner/user, Atlantic Federal Credit Union.
  • WEX Headquarters, Hancock Street, Portland: Tom and Katie represented the developer in this 90,000 SF ground-up construction office lease.
